Kia Wins at the Pirelli World Challenge
The end of August saw a number of Kia wins at the Pirelli World Challenge races at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah.
The Pirelli World Challenge is a series of races throughout the United States and Canada that aims to give teams, manufacturers, and suppliers a “competitive production-based race series in which to prove their products.” The Pirelli World Challenge is in its 26th year, after a long and storied history starting with the Sports Car Club of America in the 1970s.
Three Kia drivers brought home wins that weekend. Mark Wilkins, driving the No. 38 B.R.A.K.E.S. Kia Optima Turbo, led the thirteenth round of the Miller races, while Ben Clucas scored a podium finish in the DonorsChoose.org No. 36 Optima Turbo.
Jason Wolfe continued his recent streak of success in the Pirelli races, winning three races for the Kinetic Motorsports privateer program in the No. 36 Richard Wolfe Trucking Kia Forte Koup.
