Performance and Features

The brand-new Kia Stinger makes its first appearance as a 2018 model. Stinger is a German-designed and tested sportback GT, a five-seater with rear- or all-wheel-drive. It comes with a crisp-shifting 8-speed automatic that features a first for Kia, a centrifugal pendulum absorber torque converter. Stinger offers alloy wheels in 18- and 19-inch diameters, and the AWD version optimizes traction by employing a unique dynamic torque vectoring control system.

The Stinger’s sleek design and brawny stance is expressed by a wide track, long hood, short overhangs up front, long overhangs in the rear, and a spacious cabin. The handsome design includes an aerodynamic rear diffuser, steeply-raked windshield, smooth underbody, large front air intakes and air curtains, and recessed doors. The low-slung cabin is appointed in leather. Interior features include satin chrome trim, circular spoked vents, metal-ringed gauges, color TFT screen, and a hand-stitched leather-wrapped steering wheel. Stinger features Multiple Advanced Driver Assistance Systems that include Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Display, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Forward Collision Avoidance, and Driver Attention Warning.
