Three-row EX and Limited models, as well as all SX models, come with a 3.3-liter V6 that boasts and impressive 290 horsepower while still providing drivers with 18 city and 25 highway miles per gallon. The Sportage provides customers with some of the same engine choices as the Sorento; drivers can choose between a 2.4-liter inline-4 that puts out 181 horsepower and provides drivers with an EPA estimated 23 city and 30 highway miles per gallon, or a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 which puts out 240 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque, and provides an EPA estimated 21 city and 26 highway miles per gallon.

Dimensions and Interior

The Kia Sorento provides customers with thoughtful features including extra cubbies and storage spaces. Cargo space in the Sportage is 30.7 feet with the rear seats up, and 60.1 cubic feet with the rear seats down. If you need a third row, then choose the Kia Sorento. Compared to the Sportage, the Sorento provides 38.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, and adds another 11.3 cubic feet behind the third row. The Sorento comes with standard seating for five, a 40/20/40 split-folding second row, and can carry up to seven people with the third row seats, which have a 50/50 split.
