2020 Kia Soul EV
Kia Soul EV
The Kia Soul is a subcompact crossover SUV model that has been in production by Kia Motors since 2008 and began with the 2009 model year. The Kia Soul EV model was introduced and marketed in the United States in 2014. Even though this model doesn’t have the performance of other vehicles in its class, the 2020 Kia Soul model still ranks number one on U.S. News & Report’s list of the best subcompact SUV models.
What’s New for the 2020 Kia Soul EV?
The 2020 Kia Soul marks the beginning of the third-generation Soul models. That means that the 2020 model is totally redesigned with a new exterior and a new base Powertrain. The exterior was extended, allowing for more room for passengers and additional room in the cargo area for hauling bigger, bulkier items. All-wheel drive for higher trim levels will also be available for the 2020 Kia Soul. Unfortunately, this doesn’t apply to the Kia Soul EV as an all-wheel-drive Powertrain option has yet to be made available. The 2020 Kia Soul EV does, however, receive some notable upgrades to its range and power. The 2020 Kia Soul EV’s all-electric Powertrain can produce up to 201 horsepower that can travel roughly 243 miles on a single charge. The 2020 Kia Soul EV’s Powertrain has four available drive modes that allow for different acceleration, climate control changes, and energy recapture. The 2020 model also features a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the vehicle’s infotainment system. This system will include Apple Play and Android Auto compatibility, updates on the charge of the car, a navigation system, and a Harman Kardon premium sound system.
